MUSIC! What a wonderful gift the Lord has given us to be able to praise and worship Him through music! It is our prayer that each Sunday as we come together the music helps prepare our hearts to seek the heart of God and draw closer to Him.
At Chelten we have a number of vocal and instrumental teams that help lead our morning worship services. We are always looking for others to join this ministry. Often special music is a part of our service. If you would like to serve the Lord musically and have never done so at Chelten, convenient arrangements could be made for a time to audition.
Periodically we enjoy the blessings of presentations by choirs, ensembles or instrumental groups that travel from other areas. Each of these occasions is a wonderful time to invite friends, family, neighbors or co-workers.
Through out the book of Psalms we read many passages where we are encouraged to praise the Lord through music. Each of us can do that as we meet on Sunday morning.
