Welcome to Chelten Baptist Church! Thanks for your interest in our
ministry. It is a privilege for us to share with you all that God is doing in
our midst! It is our prayer that you will not only be blessed, but as a
result, you will be encouraged in your relationship with our precious Savior.
Chelten Baptist Church has been in existence for over 100 years,
beginning in a small chapel on Chelten Avenue in Germantown. While the
message of the Gospel and our purpose to glorify the Lord Jesus has not changed,
the world in which we live continues to do so. Our church family is diverse,
coming from all walks of life, yet our unity is evident to all, as we come
together each week. Every Sunday, we meet for corporate worship and celebrate
God's presence through music, prayer, and the preaching of the Word of God.
We desire to serve the Lord by serving you, in any and every way
possible. We also seek to provide an opportunity for each person who enters this
building to use their God given gifts and talents to build up one another in the
Lord, both at church, in the community, and ultimately throughout the whole
world.
As you read through this site, it is our prayer that Jesus Christ will
be evidenced in every ministry and activity. We personally desire to share
Christ's love with you, and look forward to meeting you in the near future. If
