The Children's Ministries Team consists of over one hundred amazing volunteers and three staff employees.  Crystal Swartzentruber has been the Director of Children's Ministries since November 2004, and before that time, she served as an intern in Chelten's middle school ministry.  She recently graduated from Temple University with a master's degree in social work.  With her background in social work, she brings the experience of working with at-risk children and youth.

Her passion is for "the fatherless" and to help equip families to have a healthy environment for the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical growth of children. She loves being a team player and is thrilled to have Debbie McElhinney and Bj Krewson as her part time assistant directors.  The team is well balanced with personal gifts and individual strengths.  Debbie and Bj have been involved in children's ministries for most of their lives.  Even as teenagers, they were involved in teaching Sunday School classes.  Debbie has a degree in Fine Arts and Bj has a degree in Elementary Education.

In has been incredible to see how the lord has brought us three ladies together as a team, and how He continually works through us!  Our vision as a team is to join with families on the journey to tell the next generation the works of the Lord that they may trust Him and pass it on!  We praise Him for the faithful workers that He has provided on our volunteer team allowing us the privilege of partnering with families.  We look forward to joining you as well for needs that you might have within your family!
